New babies are born lonesome after spending 9 months being held and cuddled 24 hours a day 7 days a week inside your womb.
Hold them, touch their hands and toes, cuddle them against your warm body, lie your warm hand on their back, hum a lullaby and talk softly to them, allow them to look into your face, smile at them. You cannot spoil your baby at this age.
Give your baby lots of “Tender Loving Care” many times during the day.
